Information you provide
- Mortgage questions, scenario details, goals, preferences, and follow-up messages.
- Property, loan, credit-range, pricing, timeline, and offer information used for comparisons.
- Loan Estimates or other offer details you upload or enter for analysis.
- Name, email address, mobile number, contact preferences, and other details you choose to include in a Rate Watch or Lenny Intro.
- Lender-partner registration, company, licensing, pricing-integration, profile, and account information.
- Messages, feedback, corrections, support requests, and survey responses.
Information collected automatically
We and our service providers may collect device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, timestamps, performance, error, and security information. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working, understand usage, and measure whether consumers complete important journeys.
How we use information
- Answer mortgage questions and preserve relevant conversation context.
- Calculate scenarios, compare matched offers, and analyze Loan Estimates.
- Create and deliver a Rate Watch or lender introduction you request.
- Operate lender-partner accounts, matching preferences, and response workflows.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect the service.
- Measure usage, improve Lenny's answers and product journeys, and evaluate outcomes.
- Send service, account, legal, and marketing communications as permitted by law and your preferences.
When we share information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With lenders you select: after you approve a Lenny Intro, up to three selected lenders receive the contact and scenario information shown in the review.
- With service providers: companies that support hosting, security, analytics, artificial intelligence, document processing, pricing connections, email, text messaging, reviews, and other business operations.
- For legal and safety reasons: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the service.
- In a business transaction: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
LenderCity does not authorize a credit pull when you use Ask Lenny, compare offers, or analyze a Loan Estimate. A lender may separately request authorization if you choose to pursue an application.
AI, pricing services, and uploaded documents
Lenny may use artificial-intelligence providers to understand mortgage questions and produce plain-language responses. Structured mortgage calculations, offer comparisons, and safeguards may also use deterministic software and connected data services. Information you submit may be processed by these providers only as needed to deliver and operate the service.
Loan Estimates and pasted offer details may contain personal and financial information. Upload only what is needed for the requested analysis. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank credentials, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
AI responses and document extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. Review the original disclosures and have a licensed mortgage professional confirm final terms, eligibility, costs, and approval.
Your choices and controls
- You choose whether to provide optional scenario, income, debt, contact, and lender-introduction details.
- You may correct extracted figures or change scenario information before relying on a comparison.
- You may leave without selecting a lender or approving an introduction.
- Rate Watch emails include an unsubscribe method. You may also ask us to stop marketing communications.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification, legal requirements, and permitted retention.
- You can limit or remove cookies through your browser settings, although some service functions may be affected.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, meet legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and improve security. Retention periods vary by the type of information and how it is used.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children's privacy
LenderCity's services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LenderCity's services, providers, and legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by other appropriate means.
